Vogel Convention Center located in Würzburg, Southern Germany, is enjoying high utilization due to numerous training and presentation events by industrial companies, institutions, banks, insurance companis and many more. The previous sound reinforcement system of the venue “Shedhalle”, which used countless conventional loudspeaker systems, could not meet anymore the growing requirements. The acoustic properties of this industrial architecture is distinguished by highly sound-reflecting surfaces and the typical wave-shaped roof construction, exacerbating the diffuse sound field problems drastically.
Only 6 pieces of Barth Acoustic B-6.C8HP hybrid-linearray loudspeaker systems using the proprietary Barth cardioid technology are now providing sound to a floor space area of approximately 850m² accomodating up to 600 persons. The rearward sound-deleting effect combined with a distict and largely constant dispersion characteristic over the complete spectrum is catering for an outstanding intelligibility and a superb and audiophile music reproduction. So best preconditions for all attendees to effortlessly follow longer lectures or presentation without any hearing fatigue.
