The B-6.C.8.HP.i is a state-of-the-art column loudspeaker based on a unique principle. Our cardioid technology, which was developed in-house by Barth Acoustic Systems, delivering a perfect three-dimensional directivity over a wide frequency range. The compact B-6.C8i HP is specifically designed for fixed installations. Contrary to standard solutions, a distinctive attenuation towards sides and rear is already achieved at low and midrange frequencies without the use of electronics or additional loudspeakers. The excellent reproduction quality for speech and music is sustained over long distances and delivers excellent results even in acoustically problematic rooms like churches or halls. The B-6.C.8.HP.i uses four state-of-the-art long-excursion Neodymium loudspeakers with aluminium voice coils and aluminium die-cast baskets, which are symmetrically arrayed following the D‘Appolito principle. A coaxially mounted 1“ CD horn works with a horizontal dispersion angle of 80°. The B-6.C.8.HP.i is available in an elegant wooden enclosure and in special colours if desired. An elegant visible grille with round holes is also available as option. The B-6.C.8.HP.i can be combined with subwoofer units to expand the system performance and frequency range.
