The B-5.5i is a loudspeaker for fixed installations in proven 2-way technology. It distinguishes itself by excellent performance and extreme outreach for speech as well as music reproduction and fulfils highest demands.

The perfectly tuned frequency crossover features protection circuitry and all the filters required for linearisation. Two conical 5“ high-performance loudspeakers with Neodymium magnets are time-aligned and symmetrically arranged around a 1“ CD horn following the D‘Appolito principle. Thanks to its small dimensions, the B-5.5i is elegantly matching with every kind of architecture and is convincing everywhere, be it as single cabinet, in 100V systems, matched with subwoofers, used in venues, in concert halls, or as nearfieled or delay line sound reinforcement. The B-5.5i offers a broad coverage and is developed for vertical mounting.

The wooden low-resonance enclosure with a structured surface comes in black as standard or in RAL colours as option. To enhance the bass performance, the B-5.5i can be optionally expanded with the bass loudspeakers BS-8 or BS-12.
